Welcome to one of the quaintest neighborhoods of the DC suburbs! Tucked in Ashburn, VA, this family home of 6 boasts loads of natural light and a cozy but spacious floorplan. I worked with this family across their entire main floor, including a family room, kitchen, dining room, living room and entry way. The journey of this project began with two very competing style preferences between the couple, with one preferring a more modern, slightly contemporary style, and the other a more colorful, layered look. Ultimately, the layered look suited the farmhouse style of this home better and went with some of the pieces they already had on hand, but I intentionally selected new pieces that had clean lines and simple design for a modern twist.
