This apartment was a total blank slate box in a building full of completely identical apartments. Not ideal for the quirky home this client had envisioned. But when character is lacking, I say add it! I was formerly 100% against faux stone wall treatments. But this whitewashed brick wallpaper changed my mind from the moment I spotted it. It’s just the unique detail this room needed for my client to fall totally in love with her home. This was a complete start from scratch job, so the game plan was selecting comfortable and multi-functional pieces all around. A sofa that a guest can sleep on. A coffee table full of storage. A media center with enough storage to hold linens. Even the desk can be closed at the end of the day and turn into a pretty statement in the corner. All the details work together to create a cohesive and harmonious home that is truly one of a kind.
